September 11…

I might still be asleep tomorrow on Mountain Time on the anniversary of the day when the planes hit—so I want to get in my “will never forget” tonight.

So to all those who were loved and lost…we will never forget.

Lighting my candle tomorrow….

Peace to all

p.s. and happy birthday to our young friends born on this day nine years ago, who also need to be remembered...

Winter Olympics...

Just finished watching the opening ceremonies of the Vancouver Olympics.

Wonderful!

I can’t remember the last time I watched the opening ceremonies. My boys aren’t really into the ceremonial part of the games.

I was moved, by the sound of sheer silence, during the moment to honor young Nodar Kumaritashvili.

How very, very sad. My heart goes out to his family and to his teammates.

Let’s hope that the rest of the two weeks bring joy, to both the winners and the losers.

Enjoy...

Just doesn’t seem right…

That my life (and life in general) moseys along while so much suffering is happening in Haiti.

Of course, one could argue that so much suffering is (has been) constant in Haiti and so many other places while my/our good life continues to mosey along…

But then that’s another topic…

Just had to take a moment to acknowledge what’s happening...as I continue to drivel on about all things trivial in my life...

And to say that the Haitian people are in my thoughts and prayers and to hope that we continue to help those who have survived as the initial horror of this horrific disaster passes and that as we mosey on with our lives...we don't forget.

Peace and love to all...stay safe, please.
