Nervous...

says it all.

My first class is this afternoon...3 to 6 pm.

I already embarrassed myself in an e-mail to the Prof who teaches this class.

I wanted to get a head start on any readings, and asked for a syllabus, etc.

Prof wrote back, “I don’t know which class you’re referring to (I teach several)”...

So...I'm red faced even before the first day of class.

[I’m suddenly reminded of those...”Boy was my face red” stories/column I read in some newspaper or magazine when I was a kid].

Again, nervous...
